Current position


I teach Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology and Biotechnology.

Research lines

My research is mainly focused on the study of the aging process, the protein quality control strategies and the mechanisms regulating mitochondrial homeostasis. I use two unicellular eukaryotic models: Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Schizosaccharomyces pombe.
