Research interests

My scientific career is mostly focused on the assessment of the mechanisms, processes and patterns that drive the assembly of plant communities, especially those of alpine, dryland and agro- ecosystems. I pay particular attention to functional traits, phylogenetic relationships, biotic interactions, spatial pattern, ecosystem functioning and plant-soil feedbacks, always under scenarios of climate change

Current position

Postdoctoral researcher at the Dryland Ecology and Global Change Lab led by Dr. Fernando T. Maestre.
