My main research interests focus on conservation biology of lichens, community ecology of epiphytic and terrestrial lichens, population dynamics of lichens in fragmented landscapes and the effect of climate change on lichens.

I teach Iberian Ecosystems in the degree in Biology, Management of Protected Areas in the degree in Environmental Sciences and Biodiversity and Conservation of Lichens and Bryophytes at the master level.
