My objective during my PhD thesis is to explore how biodiversity has affected the provision of ecosystem services of agroecosystems throughout plant evolution. For accomplishing it, I am using crop plants and their nearest wild relatives in my experiments. Moreover, I will characterize the microbial community associated to the roots of my target plants.
